Dallas Airmotive, a BBA Aviation company, is attending the Latin American Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (LABACE) in Brazil this week to showcase its extensive rotorcraft capabilities, which includes OEM authorizations to support more than two thirds of all civil helicopters operating today.
Mark Stubbs, Dallas Airmotive’s Chief Commercial Officer, explained that Latin America is a key focus in the company’s rotorcraft strategy. “The Latin American market is very robust. Dallas Airmotive is authorized to work on more than 2,300 helicopters in the region,” he stated. These include aircraft powered by PW200, PT6T, M250 and RR300 engine models.
Stubbs announced that his team is ready to deliver world class solutions to the region. “The MRO line for our PW200 and PW210 authorizations was recently completed and the first PW206 customer engine is already in our Dallas shop,” he said. “This is a significant service enhancement for operators in the region where there are more than 300 PW200 powered helicopters.”
Stubbs went on to say that members of the rotorcraft sales team will be attending LABACE to meet with operators. Leading the company’s efforts in Latin America is Henry Lisboa, Territorial Director, U.S. and Latin American Rotorcraft Programs. “Henry’s extensive experience in the rotorcraft industry and deep understanding of the Latin American market will provide significant value to the region’s helicopter operators,” Stubbs noted.
