Singapore Facility Obtains FAA and India DGCA Repair Station Approvals

NBAA – Orlando, FL –
Dallas Airmotive, a BBA Aviation Global Engine Services company, recently began offering additional engine support and services to B&GA operators in the Asia-Pacific region after receiving India’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Repair Station approvals for its Singapore repair facility.

“The FAA and India DGCA Repair Station approvals have expanded our engine and APU support services to U.S. and India-registered aircraft operating in the Asia-Pacific region,” Mark Stubbs, Chief Commercial Officer of BBA Aviation’s Global Engine Services said. “Our goal is to make the Singapore facility a hub for engine repair in the region. These new approvals provide enhanced flexibility for operators in the region as well as reducing turn times and shipping costs.”

The Singapore facility provides approved hot section inspections and repairs on Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A, PT6T and PW100 engines and Honeywell 36-100/150 APUs, as well as major periodic inspections for the Honeywell TFE731. Additionally, the Singapore team provides line maintenance support for the GE CF34 and Honeywell RE100/220 APUs and borescope inspections for the Rolls-Royce TAY 611 and BR710 engines.

“We are always looking to enhance our capabilities and provide better services,” Stubbs said. “We are dedicated to serving our customers when they need us and where they need us.”

Dallas Airmotive now delivers more convenient regional engine repair solutions and AOG services, as well as reduced shipping cost and turn times for their customers in the Asia-Pacific region. The company supports customers in the region through Civil Authority approvals for Singapore, China, the FAA, EASA (EU), Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and India.

Dallas Airmotive will be exhibiting at NBAA’s Annual Conference in Orlando, FL Nov. 1-3 at BBA Aviation booth 2619. Visit the team at the show to learn more.
