DALLAS – Dallas Airmotive, a Signature Aviation Global Engine Services company, announces the recent hiring of Michael O’Hornett to its fixed-wing engine maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services sales team. O’Hornett will expand engine MRO sales support in Texas by covering the West Texas, Panhandle, Hill Country (excluding Austin), South Texas (including San Antonio) and Rio Grande Valley regions.

The expansion of sales staff in Texas is a result of the company aiming to ensure all Texas operators are well-supported regarding their engine maintenance needs, given Dallas Airmotive’s local headquarters and main engine MRO shop is located in Dallas.

B9AlPGyb“When Texas operators choose Dallas Airmotive, they are not only working with a local premier engine maintenance provider, but they are also fueling the state economy, so it is our goal to place resources in our backyard to ensure optimal support,” said Jeff Turner, Vice President of Sales and Service for Dallas Airmotive. “With Michael coming onboard, operators in his region will have a focused point of contact who can provide them with the customized engine maintenance solutions we are known for offering.”

O’Hornett brings more than 25 years of experience in aviation to the role, including years spent at Bombardier Learjet and the United States Navy.

“I’m confident my experience working with aircraft operators over the last 25 years will enable me to understand their engine maintenance requirements, so our team can deliver to their needs,” O’Hornett said.

O’Hornett joins Dallas Airmotive’s Texas sales team covering fixed-wing engine MRO sales including Territory Director Steve Griego and Regional Engine Manager Andrew Koehler. The Texas territory is split between O’Hornett and Koehler, of whom manage maintenance events for operators with Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A, JT15D, PW100, PW300 and PW500 engines, Honeywell TFE731 and HTF7000 engines and GTCP 36 series APUs. Koehler continues to manage engine events for operators in the North and East Texas regions, central Texas along the I-35 corridor to Austin and the Gulf Coast region.
