H+S Aviation Selected as Rolls-Royce RR300 AMROC

Las Vegas, Nevada…March 4, 2013… H+S Aviation, a BBA Aviation company, has been selected to be a future Authorized Maintenance Repair and Overhaul Center (AMROC) for the RR300 engine.

“This selection is an excellent complement to our existing M250 AMROC,” commented H+S Aviation Managing Director, Mark Taylor. “We are one of the leading Rolls-Royce helicopter engine service companies in the world. With our knowledge of Rolls-Royce products we will be able to quickly come up to speed and offer seamless support for RR300 operators.”

The RR300 currently powers the Robinson R66 helicopter which has gained rapid acceptance among operators. “The operating economics of the light turbine helicopter is just what a number of operators have been looking for,” continued Taylor. “With the fleet growing quickly we think we’ll be seeing demand for field service support and repairs very soon. Our in-depth knowledge of M250 engines will serve us well in providing a high level of support to RR300 operators.”

H+S Aviation, based in Portsmouth, UK, is a leading, independent Rolls-Royce M250® AMROC. The company is exhibiting during HeliExpo at Booth #C1216.
