BBA Aviation’s Global Engine Services Companies to Celebrate OEM Agreement Extensions, Added Offerings at HAI’s Heli-Expo

GES Companies Invite Helicopter Operators to Customer Appreciation Reception to Learn More about New CT7, M250, RR300 and PW200 Engine MRO Support Developments

5 March 2019

HELI-EXPO – Atlanta, GA – Dallas Airmotive, H+S Aviation and International Governor Services (IGS), BBA Aviation’s Global Engine Services companies, announced today that the organizations will host a customer appreciation reception on Wednesday, March 6, at HAI Heli-Expo booth #B2024 from 2-5 pm, inviting all helicopter operators to attend. The reception celebrates multiple original equipment manufacturer (OEM) engine maintenance agreement extensions, added service center locations, a new PW200 engine overhaul pricing program and expanded capabilities for engine accessory maintenance, giving helicopter operators extended support and quality service options from OEM-authorized engine maintenance providers.

“With so many new developments in our helicopter engine MRO programs, Heli-Expo is the perfect opportunity to celebrate those advancements with the helicopter community,” Mark Stubbs, Chief Commercial Officer of Global Engine Services said. “Rotorcraft operators are in need of quick-turn, cost-effective engine repair services, so our team partners with engine and accessory OEMs to develop those solutions to meet operators’ needs.”

Announcements from the Global Engine Services team are listed below:

  • General Electric (GE) recently renewed H+S Aviation’s authorization for CT7 turboshaft engine maintenance, repair and overhaul for four more years. H+S Aviation will continue to support both Maintenance Cost Per Man Hour (MCPH) program and non-program CT7-2, CT7-6 and CT7-8 series engines onboard the following aircraft: AgustaWestland AW101, AW149, AW189 and EH101, Bell 214 ST and Bell 525 Relentless, and Sikorsky S-92 helicopters.
  • Rolls-Royce M250 engine operators now have OEM-approved maintenance support for fuel controls and power turbine governor accessories through International Governor Services (IGS) out of Denver, CO. H+S Aviation’s Rolls-Royce Authorized Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Certificate (AMROC) agreement was recently extended to IGS, as well as Dallas Airmotive’s Singapore location, making them AMROC Business Operations branch locations for accessory repair for the next eight years.
  • Rolls-Royce RR300 engine operators have new MRO support choices for Honeywell-manufactured fuel controls through H+S Aviation and IGS. Both H+S Aviation’s Portsmouth, UK facility and IGS’s Denver, CO facility have been granted Honeywell’s Authorized Warranty and Repair Station (AWARS) status for the next five years in a recent contract. IGS also supports MRO for Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6T accessories, including fuel controls, torque controllers, pressurizing valves and power turbine governors as well as the aforementioned RR300 and M250 accessories.
  • Bell 407 and Bell 430 helicopter operators have a new, authorized MRO service provider for Rolls-Royce M250-C47 and M250-C40 hydromechanical units (HMUs) through H+S Aviation via an agreement with Triumph Engine Controls. Part of the five-year agreement enables H+S Aviation’s Portsmouth, UK facility with exclusive approval for HMU maintenance onboard Bell OH-58 Kiowa Warrior helicopters.

“Extended agreements and additional authorizations are proof of the continued trust both engine and engine accessory OEMs put in our organizations,” Stubbs said. “Our customers receive the same OEM-quality products and services, but with more focused and personal support from our independently authorized service centers.”
